Laparoscopic Surgery

Lincoln Surgical is pleased to offer minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for a variety of conditions. Laparoscopic surgery is less painful, lets you recover faster, and gets you back to doing what you love sooner than traditional open surgery.

Our surgeons are highly trained to perform a number of advanced minimally invasive procedures using the latest techniques.

Laparoscopic surgery, including robotic surgery, provides an advanced minimally invasive alternative to traditional forms of surgical procedures.

A laparoscope is a thin tube with a small light and camera on the end that provides the surgeon with better visibility during the operation. Tiny incisions are made in which to place instruments to perform the procedure under guidance of the camera. Although laparoscopic and robotic surgery both use the same type of incisions, the role of robotic surgery in routine laparoscopic procedures is still being defined.

Our surgeons are highly trained to perform not only routine but complex minimally invasive procedures. We will determine if this approach is best suited for your particular surgical situation.

Benefits to laparoscopic or robotic surgery

  • Reduced amount of post-operative pain
  • Faster recovery period
  • Shortened hospital stay
  • Quicker return to work and doing what you love
