Dr. Schwiesow joined Lincoln Surgical Associates in July 2023 as a general, emergency, and robotic surgeon. Dr. Schwiesow works at Memorial Hospital Belleville, Memorial Hospital Shiloh, HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, and HSHS St. Joseph's Hospitals in Breese and Highland.
As an emergency surgeon, Dr. Schwiesow provides acute care surgical services for the emergency rooms and inpatient floors. He also performs robotic surgeries, upper endoscopies (EGD), and colonoscopy screenings in his role as a general surgeon.
Dr. Schwiesow earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed a general surgery residency at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Schwiesow enjoys hiking, ultimate frisbee, and tennis.
