Lincoln Surgical Associates is seeking a second dedicated breast surgeon to join its rapidly expanding breast program in the St. Louis area.
Ideal candidate is fellowship trained and certified in breast ultrasound and stereotactic biopsy or is in the process of obtaining certification. Practice is 100% breast without any general surgery call obligations.
This is a very unique practice opportunity as our medical community supports initial evaluation and biopsy of abnormal imaging by Lincoln Surgical surgeons who perform 95% of all image-guided biopsies.
Standard of care of multidisciplinary treatment is delivered in conjunction with an NAPBC-certified breast center, and Lincoln Surgical’s breast surgeon serves as medical director of this facility. A second dedicated breast surgeon is needed to treat growing backlog and to assist in development of a formal high-risk screening program. Lincoln Surgical’s breast team has grown to include two breast navigators and a certified nurse practitioner.
This is a private-practice position that will take a hard-working surgeon as far as he or she wants to go. Successful applicant will be an energetic and compassionate person with the drive to expand an already growing program and to eventually head Lincoln Surgical’s breast program in the next few years. Competitive productivity-based salary with signing bonus and relocation assistance offered and total compensation will ultimately reflect candidate’s work ethic.
