Symptoms of Breast Cancer

Although experiencing new breast symptoms can be concerning, these symptoms do not always result in a diagnosis of breast cancer.

What to Look For

  • Changes in the breast: size and shape, finding a knot or lump
  • Skin changes: scaling, redness or rash, dimpling
  • Nipple changes: pulling in of the nipple, sudden or bloody drainage, scaling

I believe Lincoln Surgical offers the same surgical knowledge and expertise that patients would receive in St. Louis—right here in our own community.

If you notice changes like this, you should schedule a diagnostic evaluation with your OB/GYN or primary care doctor.

If your mammogram or ultrasound shows a suspicious area, Lincoln Surgical Associates will perform your biopsy. It's important to understand that the majority of biopsies—about 80%—are not cancerous.
