About Dr. MacBean
Dr. MacBean joined Lincoln Surgical Associates in April 2025 as a breast, general, emergency, and robotic surgeon. She has been a general surgeon with HSHS St. Joseph's Hospitals in Breese and Highland since 2018. She also sees patients at Memorial Hospital Belleville, Memorial Hospital Shiloh, and HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon.
Dr. MacBean provides acute care surgical services for the emergency rooms and inpatient floors. She also performs laparoscopic surgeries, upper and lower endoscopies, screening colonoscopies, hernia repair, and lymph node biopsies in her role as a general surgeon.
Dr. MacBean earned her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies. She completed a general surgery residency at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and board certified by the American Board of Surgeons. Dr. MacBean is also a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, and Association of Women Surgeons.
Dr. MacBean enjoys cooking, dancing, acting, sewing, knitting, and traveling.
