Lincoln Surgical Associates Now Serving Breese and Highland

“For more than 40 years, Lincoln Surgical has provided surgical care to the Metro East, and we are excited to expand our practice to Breese and Highland,” said James J. Clanahan, MD, FACS, president of Lincoln Surgical Associates. “In addition to expanding our service area, we will be welcoming Ulunna MacBean, MD, FACS, to our general
surgery team.

Dr. MacBean is well known to the area and will be an outstanding addition to our practice.” Dr. MacBean has been serving the Breese and Highland communities since 2018. Prior to joining Lincoln Surgical Associates, Dr. MacBean was a general surgeon with HSHS Medical Group. She completed her general surgery residency at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Dr. MacBean earned a medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. MacBean will join the practice on April 28.
