About Dr. Barnett
Dr. Barnett is originally from Belleville and joined Lincoln Surgical Associates after he completed his surgical training at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. He is a partner of Lincoln Surgical Associates.
He is on staff at both Memorial Hospital and St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and has held many leadership positions. He is vice president of the board of Memorial Hospital East and serves on the Medical Staff Executive Committees at both Memorial Hospitals, where he is also General Surgery Department chair. At St. Elizabeth's Hospital, he is on the Bylaws and Utilization Review Management Committees.
While in private practice, Dr. Barnett has helped to educate young physicians and holds a clinical faculty position with Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Dr. Barnett is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and has earned multiple academic and surgical honors.
Away from surgery, Dr. Barnett is a husband and father to three children and has many interests including golf and volunteering his time at Camp Kanakuk.
