Inverted Nipple Solutions by Medela When a mother's nipples are flat or inverted, the baby cannot latch-on to breastfeed. Medela's Inverted Nipple Solutions kit contains products to help overcome this problem. This helpful package includes a set of breast shells that are to be worn underneath the bra, fitting closely around the nipple. Ideally, this treatment should begin during the last few weeks of pregnancy. The shells are worn each day, gradually increasing lengths of time.
