Selected models of the Invacare® Élan Series Beds feature a unique coupling of the head and knee elevation function to ensure proper patient positioning. Used effectively in hospital and skilled nursing facilities, this feature reduces patient sliding toward the foot of the bed when only the head is raised. These models a new easy-to-use pendant to assist patients with limited dexterity. Conventional independent head and knee operation is also available for patients who prefer separate positioning.
