Convex products are designed for use with difficult-to-manage stomas and other stomas requiring deep convexity. This deep convexity provides an improved seal around the stoma to prevent leakage and resulting skin breakdown. The unique "turtlenecking" action of the DurahesiveŽ Skin Barrier further protects the peristomal skin from irritating effluent. ConvaTec offers Convex Inserts that can be used with our two-piece wafers, for those individuals requiring mild convexity.
